As found and unpolished these Silver Sugar Tongs are a rare survivor of days when Afternoon tea was an occasion that required the correct etiquette. Sugar was often served from a fancy larger open bowl that was cubed.
These are a lovely unadorned piece of serving silverware with tiny art deco styled flares at the scoop of the spoon.
Marked "Arcadian silver" with a letter "W" for the maker.
Measure 14 cm in total length with the scoop of each spoon measuring 1.5 cm across.
