Vintage Authentic Mid Century Original Beige Glomesh Cross Body Handbag

An authentic larger, versatile Glomesh slouchy day handbag/purse.
This one differs from the usual Glomesh bag shape in that it is deeper and more box shaped.
I've sold over 100 Glomesh bags in my shop but never one this shape.
This beautiful beige coloured purse goes with any tone in this colour way. It is large enough for all your essentials including your mobile phone! (Glomesh came from an era of landlines and often their handbags weren't designed to be big enough to accommodate your essential mobile.)

It has the recognisable silver metal matt finish trim and the large kiss clasp. The interior has a special light gold colour satin fabric, and an authentic glomesh tag is intact.
It also has a 80 cm long detachable silver coloured snake chain, with a hanging length of 40 cm so it can be used as an over the shoulder or cross body bag.
This bag measures 16 cm wide and a rare 20cm deep, from the bottom of the bag to the top of the kiss clasp, which is firm and secure closing.

In good vintage condition, no mesh missing and the fabric is bright, soft and clean.
Glomesh is the symbol of elegance of the retro era , much collected, and has made its way back into today's fashion stakes.
