Vintage Early Cut-Work Brass Metal Lucky Elephant Brooch Scarf Pin

A unique and exquisite early piece of metal cut work this brass brooch or scarf pin is one to cherish. I have Taken Photos of as many angles of this intricate brooch as I could, to try to show just how astonishing the hand cut metal work is.
A lucky elephant with his trunk raised is central to the brightly shiny brass circular brooch.
Around the circumference are different animals including a more Elephants.
They appear to be African from the animals depicted, although I had first thought this to be an Indian made piece.
I've identified some sort of Oxen, a Lion, a Lioness, possibly a Zebra and two other Elephants. It's just so intricate the amount of work and skill that has gone into crafting it is amazing.
I found this in the wild, when it was almost black and dull and have shined decades of dirt and grime off it to reveal the beautiful brooch you see in the photos.
It measures 3.5 cm across and has a straight secure pin with a simple hook that dates this as a quite early piece of jewellery.
