Four fabulous picnic tea cups originally produced as cups for the colour vision snack sets. Great retro colours, my favourites being the almond green and melon.
Perfect for the Retro Caravan or Picnic basket. Each holds 300 ml is 6 cm high and measures 8 cm across. they boast little hooks on the hands to enable efficient stacking.
Made by the company Die Casters Pty Ltd: Kingsley-ware
Starting in 1926 Die Casters Pty. Ltd they claimed to be the first to successfully mould cellulose acetate over metal cores for car and household fittings. The firm became Die Casters Ltd in 1936.By 1957 they were producing “perma-glass” tumblers, canisters and “colorvision snack sets” in colours including “citrus yellow, almond green, charchol, melon and white rice.”
