Antique Victorian Sovereign Case Silver Hallmarked Chester Assayed Pure Solid Silver Locket

A truly beautiful solid silver Victorian sovereign case that is in lovely condition with button opening with a garter cartouche that has been engraved with initials. It's a delightful antique sovereign case fully marked and to add to its attraction it is also a collectible ‘Chester’ assayed piece and hallmarked crisply for William Neale and dated letter for manufacture in 1901.

The sovereign case was made in Birmingham by William Neale in 1901. Lion Passant and date letter A in script.
