This Vintage 1940 Bar Brooch has Three large Oval Cut Glass Stones in a rarely seen Bright Ice Blue colour that makes it an Outstanding piece of Jewellery. Something Old and Something Blue it could well have been bridal jewellery in the war years.
On each side of the Oval shaped Middle Stone, are Two White Glass Rhinestones that elevate the brooch and give contrast to the Blue. The Cathedral Setting gives added light and brilliance to the blue of the main stones.
Each of the stones are claw set and the pin on the back is straight and secure, all these details date this brooch to the 1940s era. This brooch measures 6 cm long and 2 cm high.
Being a bar brooch it would be perfect to secure a scarf at your neck in a like or contrasting colour.
