I'm excited by my latest in the wild finds of some delightful Plastic and Bakelite 1940s Womens Vintage Fashion Dress Buckles. This one is Bakelite from 1930/ 40s that is truely unique and easily dated from its Art Deco Lines.
It measures 7 cm long and 4 cm High. The shank measurement is 0.5 cm wide and 3 cm long.
It is a Stylised Four Sided Dark Green Carved Bakelite with a Stylised Light Green Golden Pearlised Shape Applied with Lines typical of the 1930/40s Art Deco period. I have photographed it from every angle to highlight the way it catches and reflects the light.
