A vintage genuine gold tone Glomesh small evening bag/purse.
This is a beautiful retro piece in excellent vintage condition.
The gold coloured mesh is all intact and the inside peach fabric is clean and stain free without tears. It has a delightful etched floral embedded design in the shiny gold metal trim and the short gold metal snake chain are in excellent condition.
This bag also has the iconic for its time, beautiful little kiss closure which snaps shut securely.
Inside the bag is the Original black fabric Glomesh tag, with the gold embossed writing of Made In
Australia attesting to its authenticity.
The bag measures 16 cm across the base and approximately 12 cm from the top of the kiss closure to the end of the base. Including the gold metal chain its total hanging measurement is 27 cm to the base of the bag.
This smaller and daintier of the 80s Glomesh range in evening bags, is a perfect Bridal or Formal accessory.
