Vintage 1950s Apricot Glass Cabochon Brooch: Mid Century Modern Scarf Pin

I recently aquired this 1950s gem of a brooch and fell in love with it on sight.
Its quite simply designed with a large central apricot bronze coloured glass cabachon dome, that's been cathederal set secured with claws on four sides, within a circular brass frame.
The dome is approximately 4 cms (1 1/2 inches ) across.
The brass has a rolled edge around the cabachon with an outer pie crust edge.
It has a good straight Pin and secure roll over clasp. The Glass has no scratches and shines brightly with an almost bronze glow.
The perfect vintage scarf pin, that would be a special gift with a colour matched scarf.
