A Marzi and Remy West German Pottery Vase of distinctive simplistic and beautiful classic lines.
This vase was produced in the 1950's. Made in West Germany. The vase is designed by Peter Remy.
It is a beautiful blue/grey on the exterior and a stark contrast maroon on the interior.
A gold rim to the edge of the top lip and base highlights its shape.
The satiny glaze has been hand painted.
Mazi and Remy pottery was worked in both cream and blue/grey stoneware.
This is the blue grey, that is very collectable.
In excellent collectable condition.
It stands 10cm high. The base is 5 cm across and the vase measures 6cm across the top rim.
