How special does it feel to open your most cherished Sewing basket and see a treasure from the past?
For me It evokes memories of hours spent on Sunday aftwernoons sewing with my Tailoress Dressmaking Grandmother who literally went blind from sewing Sequins and Trims by hand, onto elaborate 'Flapper' evening gowns in the 1920s and 1930s.
Pins were always certainally uppermost in the sewing box in an easily accessible place.
These are unused vintage pins fom the 1950s.
